Abstract

The study examined the full meaning of human trafficking adequately. The discourse on human trafficking in Nigeria was elaborate. The causes and effects of trafficking in persons were discussed. Elements of human trafficking and the criminalization of human trafficking were also touched. The effects of human trafficking on the trafficker were also treated. Preventative measures were discussed abundantly. The study concluded with the recommendation that law enforcement agencies in Nigeria especially NAPTIP should be strengthened to do their work effectively and efficiently.
