Abstract

With the emergence and wild spread of the advanced technology that pulled the entire world into a global village, there is every tendency that intruders try every moment to invade peoples’ privacy which could be detrimental. In view of this, cyber security was born to guide, protect and defend people from fallen victims of such invasion. Stemming from the above declarations, this study dealt with the meaning of cyber security, types of cyber security, meaning of phishing and how it works, cyber security in school management, importance of cyber security in school management, cyber security threats in schools, best practices for cyber security in schools, tools and technologies in schools.
