The study investigated managing organizational silence and its impact on workers’ job performance in industrial and educational organization. The descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. 450 academic and non-academic staff of two public secondary schools and two industries in Imo state made up the population of the study while 200 of them were randomly selected as the sample size of the study. A 10 – structure questionnaire was the instrument used to elicit responses from the respondents. The instrument was validated by three experts, two from the Department of Educational Management and Policy and one from the Department of Educational Foundation, all from the Faculty of Education, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka. The reliability of the study was obtained through Cronback Alpha. Cluster A weighted 0.82 while cluster B weighted 0.84 and all with a weighted average of 0.83 which was considered high enough for the study. The study was guided by two research questions while two hypotheses aided the study. Mean and standard deviation were used to answer the research questions while the hypotheses were tested at 0.05 level of significance. In testing the hypotheses, when the calculated p-value was greater than or equal to 0.05, it was accepted but if it was below 0.05 significant level, it was rejected. One of the findings of the study was that organizational silence can result in industrial disharmony. It was then recommended among other things that industrial and school incumbents should communicate effectively.
